Real-time Quarterly Workforce Indicators Q3 2014
We are pleased to announce the release of Quarter 3 2014 labor market reports for Southeast Michigan. See the links below to access the individual reports. A few things have been updated and changed since Q2. These include:
- Addition of occupational cluster employment (an annual metric) to the analysis
- Addition of WIN board organization logos to their respective reports and a WIN board organization page added to the WIN Region report and Data Summary document
- County-specific wage data (wage percentiles) within each report (previous reports included only region-wide average wage brackets rather than local data)
- Brief descriptions of each occupational cluster throughout the report
One thing to be aware of, the WIN team found errors in the wage data within the Q2 2014 reports, thanks to a few board members who notified us of the issue. The wage data for many occupations in the Q2 reports was incorrect, please do not use this information. The Q3 reports have updated wage data for your use, this information is correct.
WIN also produces reports for Regional Prosperity Initiative Region 9. Three of the counties in Region 9 are officially part of WIN (Livingston, Monroe, and Washtenaw) and the others, (Hillsdale, Jackson, and Lenawee) contract with WIN through South Central Michigan Works! See the additional county reports and a report for all of Region 9 below the WIN Region reports.
